Let's Do This!

I want to start off by introducing myself, I'm Emily and I live in the big city of Houston, TX.  Specifically in the Montrose area.  I absolutely love living in Montrose!   I'm married to my amazing, man, Kipper.  God picked a wonderful man for me.  I couldn't be happier.  I'm in seminary school to help prepare me to train and equip women in ministry.  God placed this call on my life about 3 years ago.  I am a Beauty Guru, though! I'm a Licensed Esthetician and you won't find me without with my Glo-Mineral Makeup, Love!LoveLove!

Beautiful Purpose came to mind while in a local coffee shop, I was finishing some homework for my Systematic Theology class.  If we're honest, how many of us have asked the question, What is my purpose?  Why am even here? As I look around me, so many people are desperately searching for their purpose in this life.  Well, I have good news for you, God has you in this time/place for a specific purpose.  In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, it talks about there is a purpose in every season in your life. What joy we can have in that hope, the good and bad times that we go through are for a purpose.  Over this past year my mom battled cancer it was a hard season of her life, but God used it for his Glory!  Through that experience my parents marriage was strengthened, her relationship with the Lord grew Stronger, and she grew in Christ's likeness! Let's rest in the Hope we have in Christ, that whatever season may come, we can trust him that it's, for a purpose!
